Overview

Business Accelerator Agency provides Shopify website build services for business owners who want a clean, professional, business-focused website built within an agreed scope.

This service is designed to create a strong online foundation. It is not an unlimited, custom-coded, complex, or long-term development service unless specifically agreed in writing.

Shopify Platform

All websites are built through Shopify.

The client is responsible for creating their own Shopify account, adding their own payment details, and maintaining ownership of their store from the beginning.

Hosting And Ongoing Costs

Business Accelerator Agency does not host the client’s website.

The client is responsible for all ongoing Shopify fees, domain fees, paid themes, apps, subscriptions, payment processor fees, email hosting, third-party tools, and any other platform-related costs.

Website Build Scope

The website build may include items such as:

  • Shopify setup
  • Theme setup
  • Homepage build
  • Product or service pages
  • About page
  • Contact page
  • Basic policy pages
  • Navigation
  • Footer setup
  • Brand-aligned visuals
  • Copy placement
  • Mobile optimisation
  • Basic launch preparation
  • The exact inclusions will depend on the agreed project scope.

Theme Limitations

The client acknowledges that Shopify themes have design and functionality limitations.

Business Accelerator Agency will aim to achieve the strongest possible result within the chosen theme, but some custom design requests, advanced features, animations, unique layouts, or functionality may require a paid theme, paid app, custom development, or separate quote.

Paid Themes And Apps

A paid Shopify theme is not always required.

If a paid theme, app, plugin, integration, or subscription is recommended, the client is responsible for purchasing and maintaining it unless otherwise agreed.

Business Accelerator Agency is not responsible for third-party theme or app pricing, updates, bugs, support, compatibility issues, or platform changes.

Client Responsibilities

The client may need to provide:

  • Business name
  • Logo
  • Brand assets
  • Product or service details
  • Images
  • Pricing
  • Contact information
  • Policy details
  • Copy or written information
  • Preferred design direction
  • Access to Shopify
  • Domain details
  • Any legal or compliance information required for the website

If the client delays providing required information, assets, access, or feedback, the project timeline may be delayed.

Project Timeline

Most website builds can be completed within approximately 3–7 days.

This timeframe depends on the agreed scope, website size, theme selected, number of pages, client responsiveness, content availability, revisions, and any additional functionality required.

Timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

Revisions

The client will have the opportunity to review the website and request reasonable revisions throughout the process.

Reasonable revisions may include minor layout adjustments, copy placement changes, image swaps, spacing adjustments, basic styling refinements, and corrections.

Revisions do not include unlimited redesigns, major direction changes, new pages, new functionality, custom code, complex integrations, or work outside the agreed scope.

Once the agreed website build is complete, the project is considered finalised.

Additional Work

Any work outside the original agreed scope may require a separate quote.

Additional work may include:

  • Extra pages
  • Custom coding
  • Advanced animations
  • App setup
  • Copywriting
  • SEO strategy
  • Product uploads
  • Blog setup
  • Email marketing setup
  • Booking system integrations
  • Custom forms
  • Advanced automation
  • Branding work
  • Ongoing maintenance
  • Major redesign requests

Business Accelerator Agency may decline additional work if it falls outside the nature of the website build service.

Client Approval

Before final handover or completion, the client may be asked to review and approve the website.

Once the website has been approved, published, transferred, or considered complete, further changes may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.

Website Content And Legal Compliance

The client is responsible for ensuring that all content, claims, pricing, product information, service descriptions, policies, images, legal pages, disclaimers, and business information provided for the website are accurate, lawful, and appropriate.

Business Accelerator Agency may assist with structure and presentation but does not provide legal advice, compliance advice, tax advice, financial advice, or industry-specific regulatory advice.

The client is responsible for obtaining professional advice where required.

Ownership

The client owns their Shopify store, domain, website content, and business materials once paid for and provided, subject to any third-party theme, app, or platform licence terms.

Business Accelerator Agency retains ownership of its internal processes, systems, frameworks, templates, custom methods, and reusable development approaches unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment Terms

Website build payment terms will be agreed before commencement.

Where a deposit, upfront payment, staged payment, or final payment is required, work may not commence or continue until payment is received.

Business Accelerator Agency may withhold final delivery, launch, transfer, or completion until all outstanding invoices have been paid.

Refunds

Refunds are not provided for change of mind, delays caused by the client, dissatisfaction caused by requests outside the agreed scope, or where the client decides not to proceed after work has commenced.

If a project is cancelled after work has started, Business Accelerator Agency may retain payment for work already completed, time allocated, planning, design, setup, or costs incurred.

Nothing in this clause limits the client’s rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Post-Completion Support

Unless ongoing support is included in the agreement, the website build service ends once the agreed project scope is completed.

Future changes, maintenance, troubleshooting, platform updates, app issues, design edits, content uploads, or additional support may require a separate quote.

Suitability

This service is best suited for business owners who want a clean, professional Shopify website built properly within a clear project scope.

It is not suited to clients who require a highly custom-coded platform, complex software product, long-term development partnership, or advanced custom functionality unless separately agreed.
