Overview

Social Media Management is an ongoing service that may include strategy, content planning, caption writing, creative direction, scheduling, posting, performance monitoring, reporting, and optimisation.

Because this service involves time, planning, strategy, creative work, scheduling, and ongoing delivery, refunds are limited once work has commenced.

Before Work Commences

If you have paid for Social Media Management but work has not yet started, you may request a refund before onboarding, strategy, planning, content creation, scheduling, or account setup has commenced.

If Business Accelerator Agency has already completed onboarding, reviewed your accounts, prepared strategy, created content, written captions, scheduled posts, or allocated production time, reasonable fees may be deducted from any refund.

After Work Commences

Refunds are generally not available once work has commenced for:

  • Change of mind
  • Deciding not to continue
  • Not liking the strategic direction after approval
  • Delays caused by not providing content, access, or feedback
  • Lack of sales, leads, followers, engagement, or viral results
  • Not approving content in time
  • Changing your business direction
  • Failure to provide required photos, videos, information, or assets
  • Dissatisfaction caused by requests outside the agreed scope

Monthly Or Weekly Retainers

Social Media Management is usually delivered through a weekly or recurring retainer.

Retainer payments cover planning, creative direction, production, scheduling, management, communication, reporting, and allocated service capacity.

Unused time within a billing period does not automatically roll over or become refundable unless agreed in writing.

Minimum Term

Where a minimum term applies, such as a 3-month term, the client remains responsible for the agreed payments for that term unless otherwise agreed in writing.

This minimum term exists because social media requires enough time for strategy, testing, posting, analytics, refinement, and consistency.

Cancellation

Either party may cancel the service by providing 14 days’ written notice, unless a different notice period is stated in the agreement.

The client remains responsible for payment for work completed, work in progress, scheduled work, and any approved costs up to the end of the notice period.

Content Approval Delays

If the client delays approvals, fails to provide feedback, or does not supply required content on time, this may delay posting or affect performance.

Refunds are not provided for delays or performance issues caused by the client’s failure to provide content, access, feedback, approvals, or required information.

Additional Costs

Outsourced costs such as photography, videography, UGC creators, paid advertising, influencer collaborations, stock assets, paid apps, or third-party services are not refundable once booked, paid, produced, or committed.

Any additional costs will be discussed and approved before proceeding.

No Guaranteed Results

Business Accelerator Agency does not guarantee followers, leads, sales, enquiries, engagement, reach, impressions, or viral content.

Social media performance depends on many factors outside Business Accelerator Agency’s control, including offer quality, audience demand, market conditions, platform algorithms, brand trust, content quality, budget, competition, consistency, and customer behaviour.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy removes your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a service has a major failure, customers may have the right to cancel the service and receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value.
